In Response To: Will a swan who has lost its mate look for a new one? (Cathy Thompson)

There used to be a pair of white swans on a pond at the local golf course, but the female was killed by a fox. There were eggs in the nest and the male swan has been seen still alive. Will he care for the eggs? and will he eventually look for a new mate?
