This morning I saw the swan family being chased across the pond by the intruder swans. Yes, there are some reeds and inlets in the pond where the family can hide, but I am worried for them. The cygnets are about four months old and just trying to fly. This is a fairly large pond. Will the intruders eventually leave the family alone? I am so surprised that the parents aren't able to kick them out of the pond.
