Sheila was just notified that she has been nominated one of the top 39 conservationists in the world, vying for the world's leading conservation award, the prestigious Indianapolis Prize. She is included along with some of the world's most renowned conservationists, including Jane Goodall, Dian Fossey, the National Geographic Society, the IUCN and Dr. Lori Marker, who was featured with Sheila in Richard Weise's "Born to Explore" television show.
