Hi Kim:

No, do not feed fruit of any kind to the swans. Swans are waterfowl and eat mainly grains, grasses and possibly fish or other aquatic larvae.

You need to clip the feathers approximately every six months unless your birds grow feathers quickly and then you may need to shorten this to every 5 months. The Regal Swan
