In Response To: white swan with dark young swan (France Ciel d,August)

Hello, a week or so ago I had the opportunity to shoot some pics of wild white swans. one pair had a young swan but almost as big as parents.. It is a dark brownish gray color.. my question is: can white parent swans have black cygnets? I live in Raymond,Wa. about 100 mi. So. of Seattle.. thank you France
