Thank you so much. I got the call today that they were able to capture him. :b The man's wife got a bloody nose and he ended up all muddy but they were able to pressure him in the right direction and he came up trying to fly and went into the net. He is unharmed and will remain in the barn overnight and I will pick him up tomorrow morning. I don't want him off the water any longer than needed.

The ride home will be about 45 minutes and he will go directly onto the large pond by the house, it's just next to our back yard. I will bring a large wire dog crate to put inside the trailer to see if he might fit in it to ride home.

He should really love it here and there is a lot of water plants for him to eat, he had cleaned out their smaller pond pretty much. Our larger pond is flat to the ground on one side and the banks are not too steep elsewhere. It's fed with the overflow from our artisian well. It's a very healthy pond with fish, minnows and frogs....loads of tadpoles in the spring. We have a smaller pond in the back yard that is close enough he will easily be able to travel between them. The smaller pond has more shade and some willow trees on the bank and also has easy access with one side flat to the ground.....I can't wait :D
