Hello, We are very confused about our swans. We purchased a pair about 4 years ago.
We never had eggs or they never built a nest or anything and we were told they were a year old when we got them. Since then one died two summers ago , so we purchased another swan, so they told us it was a female. Last summer we had one nest with 10 eggs and they never hatched. This year we have 10 eggs again. We saw them mating so we are not sure what to think. the first years we thought we may have had two males therefore no eggs, now we think since none of the eggs hatched last year and we get so many eggs we could have two females, Many people who have swans say theres no way a female can have 10 eggs.They are sure we have two females.??
