Found a swan in the front yard..very snowy, but it walked about 20 feet and settled down. The pond is 3 houses over. What's it doing here? I don't know if it's looking for food and water. Pond is frozen over. I put out water and some bread. Nothing. Looking around and preening it's feathers. Stood up, Stretched and walked a few steps 2-3 times. I approached. It hisses when I got about 3 feet from it. Any suggestions???
