In Response To: Eggs disappeared from nest, no eggshells around the nest (Lisa)

We have a mating pair of swans that usually hatch 6-8 cygnets a year. This year a week or two before they should of hatched the eggs disappeared from the nest. There was no evidence of eggshells anywhere around the nest. What predator would carry off the all of the eggs (eight of them this year), and not leave behind any evidence? After that she laid one more egg which disappeared as well.
