How to Deter Aggressive male Swan

We have a mating pair of mute swans. We purchased them six years ago from the Swan Man. Each year the male expands his territory and gets more aggressive. Even thought we have a decent sized pond and 10 acres of land, he is now claiming part of our neighbors land as his territory. Our neighbors have two young children and I'm concerned he may eventually go after one of them. Is there any kind of spray (homemade or store bought) that would help deter him from wondering so far from his pond? They are both pinioned so can't fly away. If not, I'm afraid I might have to get rid of the male, one way or another. BTW, Juliet has her own fenced in area that only opens into the pond (at a depth of about 4') where she makes her nest, so no predators can get to her eggs and young cygnets. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
