We have a summer home on the lake. For the past 3 years I've noticed a Canadian Goose whose webbed foot is missing or severely deformed on one leg. Sometimes the leg seems to bother him when he's hobbling around. Most of the time he will stand on one leg. Although there are other geese in the same area, I've noticed that he is always alone. Even if there is a flock walking in the same area, he's by himself. Do they shun him because of his foot? i feel very bad for him!!!
