How soon do you typically remove the swan babies from the parents? I have two white swans and 7 babies at the pond where I work. We usually remove the babies and send them to good homes in August or late July. The daddy swan started nipping at the babies this week and we are worried he will drown them. Is it too soon to send them off on their own? The babies are about 6 weeks old.
