In Response To: Re: Swans and death (The Regal Swan)

Hi Daniel:

Swans, like other living beings, die wherever and whenever the time comes. Many may succumb to the cold and long distances during the migratory path. If a swan is in a weakened state due to illness or injury, they may be hard pressed to fly, so most would die in their habitat (water or surrounding area).

If demise comes from predators, they may die in the water or surrounding area. Again, there is no set site in which they go to die. Death decides the location. The Regal Swan
