Cygnets in our community are due to hatch in the next few weeks. We pinion the cygnets between 3 to 5 days old and will be sending the wing tips for DNA sexing. At the time of pinioning we would like to wing tag or leg band the cygnets and would like to know the preferred method. As the cygnets grow very fast we want to be sure to allow for growth and not do anything harmful to the cygnets.
