Usually, male swans will not re-pair if something occurs to their mate. This is an individual attribute, but we would suggest that you may be better off not getting him a mate. If he does not accept the new swan, you will need to find her a home. Also, some states are now requiring breeders licenses for individuals who have swans that can produce offspring. You certainly do not want to place another
male swan with him as both could get seriously injured. The Regal Swan
