It appears the Trumpeter swan family, who have visited in the past 2 years, have deposited one their juveniles on our pond. It has taken up residence, and seems to be acclimating. It is also coming on shore near our property more frequently. We were wondering about putting a swan feeder out for it. There are geese and ducks on he pond, so we would want the feeder to be "swan friendly only" if possible. Perhaps one could be homemade. What do you suggest?
