Lone Mute Swan in Oklahoma

Hello, My name is Tammy Farris. I live in Piedmont, OK and our back yard goes into a lake here. About three days ago, we noticed a large white bird; and found that it is a Male Mute Swan. It flew in and has stayed ever since. I have been looking through the web and would like to know what food we can suppliment his diet with, without causing the animal any harm. I am not sure as to why he choose our lake in the middle of Oklahoma, however we would like to make his stay here as pleasant as possible; with little to no impact on the Swan itself.
He is a lone male, that much I have been able to determine. Has the large bulb on his beak and larger black markings.
Also I am most curious to know if there have been any other reported swan sightings in Oklahoma. From what I have read they are mostly located in the northern areas of North America: The Great Lakes, Lower Canada, Pacific Northwest and along the northern to middle east coast.

Sincerely,
Tammy Farris
