In Response To: Destroyed and abandoned nest (Susan)

My 22 yr old son and myself have been watching a swan nest with the Swan incubating 4 eggs. We went yesterday and the swans had gone and the nest seemed to have been destroyed. The nest was in a reed bed not far from a pathway.
