Per your instruction, I purchased hay and placed some on the dock and a very small amount onto the platform the female has been using as her resting spot. The male and female have both ignored the hay on the dock completely and, over the past two days, have removed all of the hay from the platform and placed it in the water. Is there anything else I should do at this in hopes of enticing them back next year for nesting?
