In Response To: Young swan being chased by mother swan (Carolyn)

Hi, I have a young swan that is about 9 months old, the mother swan is chasing it all over the ponds, not letting it eat with them (the parents). It is mating season right now, does this have anything to do with her chasing the baby and what will happen if she hatches more.
