Thanks for this info.

Indeed Juliet does pull up plant material from the bottom and lets it fall for the cygnets. And she "pumps" her feet to churn up stuff off the bottom for the cygnets.

The material the cob grabs off the lake bottom is tossed aside (almost over his shoulder) -- much like he does with the reeds he pulls up -- which doesn't seem to be for nesting or for the cygnets. Maybe it's just his style.

In Swan Lake Village we treasure the swans and immerse ourselves in their lives... They're wonderful.
