In Response To: Mute swans: Menage a trois? (Lene)

I was given 2 baby mute swans that I have raised and they are about 6 mos old. I took them to my avian vet and they are girls. I was given an 2 yr old adult male mute swan two weeks ago that was a rescue. He is leary of me, but will let me pick him up. He has adapted will to the pond. I have read everything I could get my hands on about swans. I know they mate for life. My question is would they mate with two females or do I need to find a home for one of my females?
