This is the beginning of the new nesting season. The birds may be traveling from pond to pond to search for nesting or food resources. They may also be fleeing from other swans in the area chasing them from the nesting area of those swans. Things should settle shortly and you may even have some permanent residents for nesting if your habitat is suitable. The Regal Swan
