In Response To: Only 1 swan on this small lake. No mate. Canadian geese prevalent (Marilyn)

So concerned about this gigantic white swan. He/she is all alone, been here 2 was.. and stays in one area behind our house on Indianhead lake in Sherwood, Ar. Haven't called anyone, I.e. Game.e and Fish Commission. I hear they are in pairs, and mate for life. What could have happened_??? Will it stay, should I call someone? It appears to be living on brim because there's a lg. brim bed in that exact area. Other Canadian and mallards/hens stay away from this enormous giant.
