Hi Kathleen:

Great news that the pinioning and reunion went well. The parents will not begin chasing the cygnets from the habitat until 8-10 months of age. Once the separation and chasing occur, you will readily know it as time to find the young swans a new home unless you have an ample size lake to accommodate more swans, especially future breeding pairs.
