I live in a village in Leicestershire. A while back we had a new housing development built not far from where I live, there is now a piece of land that is dipped with a fence round, I suppose this is to catch rain water to avoid flooding and it is now a pond. I walk my dog round the grassy area regularly and there is one beautiful white swan always either in the water or trying to walk down the bank to get back to the water, this swan is all alone and every time I see it I feel sorry for it as there are no others.

Would it have a better life if it had others with it? Can we move it somewhere else? Can we bring others in, I don't know, please help!
