In Response To: Male swan leaves female, walks 1/2 mile away (Cindy)

i have a pair of one year old mute swans on a 1 acre pond. Their wings are pinned. The male keeps leaving. He walked about 1/2 mile away today. A few weeks ago he went the other direction about a 1/4 mile. he does not come back.

Is there anything I can do?
