In Response To: swan taking over large lake raft (Susan)

There is a family of swan's (4) that seem to have taken over my swim raft on the lake where I have my home. They are beautiful and I love watching them. The problem is they leave "swan droppings" all over the raft. It is difficult to get the kid's to swim on it even after I clean it off.

How can I keep the swan's off the raft without frightening them away from the area. They have lived on the lake for several years, but have just recently come down to this end of it. It is a daily chore that I don't particularly care for.
