Hi Ida The swan may be coming to you for food. If the pond freezes she may succumb to drowning, starvation, illness or predation. Since swans are extremely protected in your country, we would suggest that you immediately contact the RSPCA so that she can be rescued prior to the pond freezing. They will take her to a better location or hold her at a swan rescue facility to ensure that she is ok and release her in the same area once the severe weather improves. The Regal Swan
