swans chasing

Hello, I am an avid reader of all the posts. I have two rescue swans, male and female. They came to me at different times but have taken with each other and get along well. My pond is a little over an acre and is completely fenced to ensure their safety and that of the ducks. I was called last weekend from a lady saying a swan just walked into her garage. I went and picked it up and brought it to my lake. It is quite young, still with mottled feathers. I penned her up for about a week and noticed she had a few habits I was worried about. She shakes her head after she eats and makes a slight noise like she is trying to clear her throat. She looks healthy, eats her pellet feed mixed with cracked corn. Walks fine and has no trouble swimming. Got me worried, so I took her to my vet, who is an avian vet too, and had him check her out. He could not find anything stuck in her throat, no ear infection, nothing. She weights almost 15 lbs. I brought her home and decided to let her go in with the other swans. They chased her all day long. I was afraid to leave them together, so I separated them by putting a fence completely across my pond dividing it in half but I really don't want to leave them like that. They all 3 swim out to the middle and talk to each other through the fence. Will I ever be able to let them be together? Got a call today about another rescue and I will have to go and see if I can capture it this weekend. I hope it likes the one already on the side by itself. Any thoughts??? Also, do I need to worm these swans? If so, how? I did inquire at the vet and he wasn't sure either. I would really appreciate your help and insight. I have seen pictures of lots of swans on a lake at one time and I would understand if it was breeding season. Maybe I should put some of my ducks on the one swan side and she won't feel lonely. I need your guidance and expertise. Thanks!!! I have attached a picture of Miss Ellie chasing her. Thanks again.
