In Response To: Black Swan Puget Sound (Drew)

Hello,
I was down by the water in the Puget Sound of Washington State yesterday, and got some good pictures of what I'm positive is a Black Swan. I was just wondering if this was a rarity since I've lived near the Sound all my life and have NEVER seen one before. Also, could it be an escapee if I got within 8 feet or so of it without it flying away?
