In Response To: Black swans: Couple separated (Gwen)

My husband bought 2black swans one died so he went to the breeder and got another male.

My son said that they separated a pair and put the female in with ducks who then ganged up on the female swan really badly. As they mate for life I feel sorry for this swan, so my question is if we went back and picked up this female swan would the two females be able to live with the one male happily, or would I make a really bad situation.
