I once heard that some states in the US regularly controls the number of mute swans by means of "culling", either killing them or taking their eggs so they may not hatching. Instead of being killed in massive number, can I adopt the ill-fated swans? But the thing is I live so far away from the US, in a Jakarta suburb. I've long been yearning to have a pair of swans in my backyard.
