In Response To: Would our lone female mute swan accept new females or a male? (Craig)

I have a 4 year old female mute swan. Her mate was killed last fall. I would like to get one or more female mute swans so she is not alone. Will she accept a new female(s) to her home? Or should I get another male?
Her home is a 3 acre pond that I keep deiced during the winter.
Any insight would be appreciated.
