Cygnet Black Swan

I have a baby swan because someone else got it as a pet, and could not care for it. He (she) is doing well..Feeding a low protein meal and romaine lettuce. I have a stuffed animal in his cage, and play with him a great deal. There is so little information on the web about care..I can't believe it! Concerns: He is alone, except for me..will he have issues by not being with other swan? Should I send him back to the breeder to be with others? Is it ok to raise him as a pet??

He follows me around like I'm 'Mom', when I let him out many, many times a day. He cuddles, nibbles..but I know those beaks will get those tiny teeth like things to help them eat properly...they will be sharp. Getting a bit nervous. He is less than two weeks old.

I gave him his first bath in the sink..but only for 2 minutes..I hear they can get waterlogged quickly if they are not used to it.. how do you get them acclimated to water? I want him to be happy and have a pool and environment.

Help please...
