In Response To: Re: What effect do pinioned swans have on a small lake or pond (The Regal Swan)

Hi Rob

No, we would not want to drink the water either. We are sorry that we could not be more specific to your issue. However, without seeing water tests prior to the swan’s arrival and post arrival, we have no scientific basis to determine if there is a causal effect. Additionally, we would need some historical info as well as current info regarding the lake habitat, drought, flooding, aerial or other spraying in the immediate or surrounding area, run-off, spills, dumping or discharge, etc., historical habitat/environmental cycles that may affect turtles, fish and other water life and their reproductive behavior. There are just too many variables to be addressed in this complicated situation. The Regal Swan
