Hello. You helped me last year with a nesting issue. This year, one nest washed away before the eggs were laid. They built another. For some reason she moved the eggs off the nest to a lower level, and had issued with the new moon flooding. I saw that she retained 3 of them out of the water and continued to lay on them. Then I only saw 1 in nest (and believed the others may have been discarded or washed away). NOW there are 3 again!!! Is it possible she is laying more eggs? It is so late in the season! Or, I am wondering if she was hiding them within the nest itself to keep them warm. Do you think these are the original eggs from the nest? It does not seem possible she could have laid new eggs that fast, and this late in the season. Thank you! Karen
