I have a male swan, and a duck, who have been together since they were babies. The male swan is an "adolescent", about a year and a half in age. We have Canadian geese around the property, and the swan has yet to show any aggression or territorial displays, in fact he and the duck will share a grazing area with the geese on land. I don't see them get very close while in in the water, the geese tend to keep their distance there, and there have been no altercations. Just wondering if my swan will become more territorial if he has a mate and/or cygnets?
