Hi - I have a friend that lives on a laree very beautiful piece of property that has a large pond on it. She took in a female swan that can no longer fly and she would love to get a mate for it. This female lays eggs and tries so hard to hatch them but, of course, to no avail. She would love to find a mate for her girl Anna but it would have to be one that can not fly just like the female. Would this be a possible scenario. Will they take on a second mate if their first one has died. Where can my friend look for a male. Would love some advice to pass on to her. We all feel so sorry for Anna all alone. My friend did introduce ducks so she does have them for company but she longs for babies. Thanks.
