Hi, I've been watching our local canal swans, she's laid her eggs and I saw 3 eggs, mum and dad have been active but they haven't been seen for 4 days now, 2 of the eggs are still there (don't know where the 3rd one has gone). Is this normal? The ducks and ducklings all ok and even moorhen's and chicks but the swans have disappeared leaving the eggs, the nest isn't really accessible. Please help/advise? Thank you very much.
