In Response To: Re: migratory swan? (The Regal Swan)

Hi Gary:

We're not sure exactly which Lake St. Clair you are located as we do know that there is a location that acts as a wetland stopover during the spring and fall season for ducks, geese and swans in Canada. If this is the same location of your home, then probably the swans will begin a migration somewhere to a wintering home unless the wetland area does not freeze and offers some protection from inclement weather.

Another consideration is the species of swans which will also determine the migratory pattern and time of migration. If you can provide us with your exact location, we may be able to research this question for you. The Regal Swan
