Hi Judy:

The folks should actually be feeding the swans cracked corn with poultry layer pellets. Swans are waterfowl and will not eat seeds, but ratjer grasses and other aquatic vegetation. If feeding is to be allowed, then the signage should read that the swans are on a special diet and should only be fed cracked corn, poultry layer pellets and lettuce. This should help with ensuring their dietary needs. The Regal Swan
