Thanks for all the information! I plan on getting a swan from my neighbor. Although I don't know the breed. All I know is they are big, white, and have orange on their beak. Big black feet. Some black on their beak. etc. They sell for about $300 a piece. I can't afford $600 for 2 swans. I have some more questions.

-If the pond was deeper would that make it more suitable?
-Could the swans live off of a diet of Bread and lettuce? And then their swan pellet feed?
-What's the average price for swans? Are they often sold cheaper as a pair?
-Would they be able to live off of a diet of strictly swan pellet feed?
-Would 2 boys or 2 girls get along fine?
-Would they fight at all?
-Would they need/(Require) Airation in the pond?
-Could they live w/o airation? (If ofcourse they even needed it!) lol.
