We had a single male swan. We went and got a three-year-old female Swan. We put her in a pen by the lake for about three days. He came up and sat by the cage most of the day. When we let her out; he tried to breed her and more less run her around. She now has swam to the wooded edge of the lake and will not come out. I have been been putting food there but do not want her to get used to eating there. Should we catch her and put her back in the cage for a longer amount of time; or just leave her alone? She seems to be scared of our male that we were trying to pair her with.
