In Response To: Re: Cygnet approx 4 months not with parents anymore (The Regal Swan)

Hi Amy

Thanks for your kind words. We are glad that we have been assistance to you. The cygnet is approximately 5 1/2-6 months of age and migratory season is upon us. So, it is possible that the parents are letting the cygnet go out on his own within the immediate area (the area that you cannot see, but the parents are still watching). Soon, all will leave for migration and by that time, the cygnet will become a juvenile, told to get his own mate and find another habitat. It would not surprise us to find out in the next few days or a week that you see all of them together prior to their leaving the area. The Regal Swan
