In Response To: Injured 2 month old (Norm)

We have a wild swan family that we feed every year. One of the 2 month old babys has lost it's flipper. Probably attacked by a turtle or something. It has a leg but the flipper appears to be totally missing. For two days the family stood by this baby and the dad was very protective. It seems now, the family has abandoned it. They left him on the lawn and swam off to another part of the lake. Any ideas? Is there anything we can do?
