In Response To: Re: Question regarding a Canada goose with a broken wing (Nelly)

Update: I saw him today while he was preening on the inside of the broken wing and I saw what looked like an exposed bone, with a cut ending in the upper, inner (towards body) side of the wing. I will take a picture tomorrow. Surprisingly, it looked very clean, no blood or yellow puss. Also, I don't think the wing is hurting him as he would occasionally do the one-wing-one-leg stretching and he would even rise in teh water and flap his wings (as much as he can). I'd just thought I would update you with the details. Thanks.
