In Response To: Swan won't go back in the water after an oil spill (Howard kroplick)

There is a swan who lives at the village lake in Roslyn, NY. About a month ago, there was an oil spill from a restaurant. The swan (about 40 pounds!) appears to have oil on its feathers. The swan refused to go back in the water.

Any suggestions on what to do to save this beautiful swan?
