In Response To: The Missing Swan (John)

A pair of swans have nested on the Canal opposite for 5 years. Recently it looks as though the mother Swan who was spending most of its time on the nest has left, leaving the nest and male. Swan pairs are known for staying together so I'm wondering what could have happened?
