In Response To: Re: Remaining cygnet now fully grown (The Regal Swan)

Hi Terri

This is all normal behavior and as long as the cygnet can fly, she will be chased and encouraged by the parents to leave this habitat to find one of her own as well as a mate.

If she continues to stick around, there may be a fight which could lead to her being seriously injured, especially if a juvenile male tries to enter the habitat to bond with her.

The best scenario is that she leaves her parents' habitat and begins the process of finding a future mate and habitat of their own. Regal Swan
